USC is also in the moving business. We recently participated in the BAR conference for movers in Glasgow. Here we presented our versatile Z-Box along with our latest container development designed specifically for the moving industry. In addition, we recently completed a successful project at international moving company Eurogroup.

We are so proud of our containers that we like to shout this from the rooftops! But since the neighbors are starting to complain about this, we try to limit ourselves to trade shows. We like to introduce everyone in the industry to USC containers. Last time we were at several trade shows, we would like to tell you a bit more about the SSA UK and SSA Sweden.

With custom solar panel structures, we can install six panels per Z-Box. With this, we realize the Off-grid Z-Box, with power inside and outside our containers without a connection to the grid.

The year was characterized, among other things, by projects that we were finally able to handle after years of consultation. How wonderful is that! In Italy, we primarily encountered bureaucracy, but fortunately, we are being assisted by AISI. Additionally, we are still enjoying the memories of a fantastic FEDESSA show that took place in our own Rotterdam this year.

We recently completed an interesting and at times difficult project in Mallorca. On this beautiful island in the sun last November, we did not build a new park for Planet Space, but replaced the roofs and doors of the existing containers.

Every year at the FEDESSA Conference & Trade show, the European Industry Report is presented. This report contains the results of a survey conducted by FEDESSA. The survey is administered to all organizations and companies affiliated with FEDESSA. The goal is to get a realistic picture of the self-storage industry in Europe.

We would like to continue growing in two markets new to us, the moving market in the United Kingdom and the storage market in France. In late November, we therefore attended the Movers & Storers show in Stoneleigh, England and the NationalBox in Paris. In addition to these shows, we now have local stock in the United Kingdom and language assistance in France to maximize local customer facilitation. Seth enjoys recounting his experiences from the English show.

Recently, we have had the opportunity to take care of several projects, we would like to highlight Ireland and our own Netherlands. We tell you how we handled this and what is involved in delivering and building a storage facility.

We look forward to the European FEDESSA Conference, which this year will be held in our home city of Rotterdam. This is the premier conference for the joint self-storage associations in Europe.

The corona time was a difficult period for everyone. When we were finally able to put those behind us, fortunately it was again possible to show our face at the many trade shows that the various self-storage organizations were again able to organize. The British have now stored enough stuff to fill Buckingham Palace more than sixty times over. Lack of suitable and affordable housing, the continuing urge to buy and the difficulty of parting with unused belongings, have meant that the self-storage business is likely to turn over more than £1 billion a year this year.
