Movers & Storers show en NationalBox 2023<\/h1>\n

Wij willen graag doorgroeien in twee voor ons nieuwe markten, de verhuismarkt in het Verenigd Koninkrijk en de opslagmarkt in Frankrijk. Eind november waren wij daarom aanwezig op de Movers & Storers show<\/a> in Stoneleigh, Engeland en de NationalBox<\/a> in Parijs. Naast deze shows hebben wij nu ook lokale stock in het Verenigd Koninkrijk en taalhulp in Frankrijk om de lokale klant maximaal te kunnen faciliteren. Seth vertelt graag zijn ervaringen van de Engelse show.<\/span><\/p>\n

Movers & Storers – Het opzetten<\/h3>\n

Seth nam op zondagavond de boot vanaf Hoek van Holland om maandagochtend op tijd in Engeland te zijn. Maandagochtend was het nog goed drie uur reizen vanaf Harwich om bij de NAEC<\/a> in Stoneleigh te komen. Stoneleigh is een klein plaatsje tussen Coventry en Warwick in, ten Oosten van Birmingham.<\/span><\/p>\n

Seth: \u201d\u00c9\u00e9n van onze Z-Boxen werd al vroeg op de booth geplaatst, de rest van het opzetten kon pas om 14:00 beginnen. Naast onze container hebben wij een tent geplaatst met een banner om de zichtbaarheid te vergroten. Tevens hebben wij weer onze LED banners gebruikt, die altijd erg opvallen. Het belangrijkste is natuurlijk onze container op de beursstand zelf. Interessant, omdat de bezoekers de kwaliteit van onze container meteen kunnen ervaren.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Movers & Storers – Self storage onder de verhuizers<\/h3>\n

De Movers & Storers show is een interessante show, aangezien deze de verhuis business met de opslag business combineert. In Engeland zijn veel verhuisbedrijven bekend met self storage. Dit in tegenstelling tot bijvoorbeeld Nederland. Sommige verhuizers verhuren opslag naast het verhuizen, andere verhuizers gebruiken de opslag als tijdelijke opslag voor de verhuis klanten. Zeecontainers zijn erg gebruikelijk in de Engelse opslagmarkt omdat er van oudsher een overschot aan zeecontainers in het Verenigd Koninkrijk is. Het probleem met zeecontainers is echter het gebrek aan isolatie, wat veelal voor condens zorgt. Op sommige dagen is de binnentemperatuur van een zeecontainer \u2018s ochtends 2 graden, maar rond het middaguur 25 graden (in de zon). Uiteindelijk regent het opgebouwde vocht binnen in de container dan van het plafond. <\/span><\/p>\n

Helemaal in een land als Engeland met het sterk wisselende klimaat is dit niet handig voor de inboedel van je klanten. Voorraad in Engeland<\/h3>\n

Veel bezoekers waren positief over de kwaliteit van onze containers. Helemaal met de isolatie, ventilatie en de mogelijkheid om makkelijk compartimenten te maken is het de ideale keus voor naast je verhuis business. Ook beschikken wij sinds dit jaar over een aparte Engelse voorraad bij onze partner Secure Stores<\/a> in Felixstowe. We kunnen dus snel leveren.<\/span><\/p>\n

Movers & Storers – Afbreken en naar huis<\/h3>\n

Het afbreken ging erg vlot. Rond half vier konden wij hiermee beginnen en om half zes zaten wij weer in een volgeladen auto. Na nog met zijn drie\u00ebn gedineerd te hebben konden we weer terugrijden naar Harwich om zo de nachtboot te halen. Zo waren we donderdagochtend weer veilig in Nederland om verder te gaan met de gebruikelijke werkzaamheden.<\/span><\/p>\n

NationalBox<\/h3>\n

Maarten was in Parijs op de bijeenkomst van NationalBox. Met een groot aantal leden is dit een enthousiast samenwerkingsverband tussen Franse opslagbedrijven, met als focus de nationale Franse opslagmarkt. Het is altijd weer even wennen om in het Frans te overleggen, maar gaandeweg de dag gaat het steeds makkelijker. Misschien toch maar een tweedaags evenement volgend jaar?<\/span><\/p>\n

We would like to continue growing in two markets new to us, the moving market in the United Kingdom and the storage market in France. In late November, we therefore attended the Movers & Storers show in Stoneleigh, England and the NationalBox in Paris. In addition to these shows, we now have local stock in the United Kingdom and language assistance in France to maximize local customer facilitation.
