Een ouderencentrum in Breda was vorig jaar op zoek naar een tijdelijke en veilige opstelplek voor fietsen. Wij bedachten voor hen een oplossing door slim gebruik te maken van de mogelijkheden van onze multifunctionele opslagcontainer. Deze zou later weer zal terugkeren bij de nieuwbouw van een tweede woontoren. Omdat we niet anderhalf jaar zonder fietsenberging wilden zitten, besloten we om een tijdelijke voorziening op te tuigen.\u2019\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Hoe kwamen jullie bij USC terecht?<\/b><\/p>\n \u2018Een van mijn collega\u2019s had elders in het land USC voor een tijdelijke berging ingeschakeld. Die kende jullie dus al en tipte mij daar weer over.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n Hoe bevallen de fietscontainers?<\/b><\/p>\n \u2018De uitstraling is prima en de binnenruimte is goed te gebruiken. Een enkele bewoner geeft aan dat het gebruik van het cilinderslot soms lastig is en de bediening van de deur wat zwaar. Een evaluatie over het project is ook nog niet gepland. Voor reguliere co\u00f6peraties zullen dit soort belemmeringen overigens minder sterk spelen dan wanneer het zoals bij ons om oudere bewoners gaat.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n Hoe verliep het proces?<\/b><\/p>\n \u2018Tijdens het proces werd er echt goed meegedacht. En de communicatie verliep ook prima. Wat opviel was dat de containers in eerste instantie scheef bleken te staan. Het veld waar ze op kwamen te staan kende namelijk een bolling. Dat probleem kon niet meteen opgelost worden waardoor de fietsenberging niet direct in gebruik kon worden genomen. Uiteindelijk is het door USC allemaal goed opgelost.<\/span><\/p>\n De containers zijn door USC voorzien van stroom voor de verlichting en oplaadpunten. De vier oplaadpunten per container voldoen en worden goed gebruikt evenals de acht plekken voor fietsen per container.\u2019\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Hoe bevalt de locatie van de containers?<\/b><\/p>\n \u2018Je kijkt vanuit het restaurant direct uit op de twee containers. We hadden verwacht dat er nog wel klachten over het uitzicht zouden komen in de trant van: \u2018die twee grote, witte dozen belemmeren ons uitzicht\u2019. Dat viel erg mee. Niemand vond ze lelijk. Dus er werd vanuit het verpleeghuis ook niet aangedrongen op aanvullende voorzieningen zoals beplanting of fotobehang. Het is voor een tijdelijke voorziening allemaal best acceptabel.
