Maarten blikt terug op 2022<\/h1>\n

Vanuit het vliegtuig van Dublin naar Nederland schrijf ik alweer het laatste artikel van dit jaar. Ik kom terug van een levering in Clarecastle, met aansluitend een ontmoeting met een aantal prospects. De eerste levering<\/a> van dit jaar was in Ierland en de laatste dus ook. Niets is leuker dan een tweede bestelling, omdat je dan zeker weet dat je producten bevallen en dat onze klanten er geld mee verdienen. Ditmaal regende het niet, maar vroor het. Een goede gelegenheid om met onze drone mooie beelden te schieten die we binnenkort online zullen plaatsen.<\/p>\n

Europa<\/b><\/h3>\n

We hebben dit jaar onze opslagcontainers mogen plaatsen in eigen land, Engeland, Duitsland, Zweden, Frankrijk en, zoals eerder genoemd, in Ierland. Langzaamaan werden we verlost van het juk van corona, wat het reizen en verblijven wat veraangenaamde. De meeste trade shows werden dit jaar ook voor het eerst in drie jaar weer georganiseerd. <\/span><\/p>\n

FEDESSA<\/b><\/h3>\n

De FEDESSA-show, de jaarlijkse bijeenkomst van de Europese Self Storage Associatie, vond dit jaar in Portugal plaats. Natuurlijk was dat qua locatie, aan de Algarve, zeer aangenaam, maar volgend jaar wordt het voor ons echt een thuiswedstrijd. Dan is Rotterdam<\/a> namelijk de hoststad.Tijdens de show in Portugal organiseerden we al een leuke openingsparty, we moeten maar eens gaan zien hoe we de FEDESSA 2023<\/a> in Rotterdam onveilig kunnen maken..<\/span><\/p>\n

Salland Storage Almelo<\/b><\/h3>\n

Op lokaal vlak gebeurde er ook genoeg. Onze eigen faciliteit Salland Storage werd verder uitgebreid met een opslagpark in Almelo<\/a>. Ook zijn we een brede samenwerking met klanten aangegaan om onze gezamenlijke reserveringssystemen uit te kunnen breiden.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prijsniveau<\/b><\/h3>\n

Er was helaas niet alleen maar positief nieuws. De oorlog in Oekra\u00efne had een negatieve invloed op het prijsniveau van onze opslagcontainers. De sterk stijgende dollarkoers deed daar nog een flinke schep bovenop. en Pensioenvoorziening<\/b><\/h3>\n

Wat dit jaar ook indruk heeft gemaakt is dat we klanten in ons bestand hebben die na lange tijd overwegen toch tot aankoop zijn overgaan. Zij beschouwen de aankoop van onze opslagcontainers, met de bijbehorende inrichting van een storage park, als een mooie bijdrage aan hun pensioen. Een opslagpark kan hen een stuk inkomenszekerheid bieden, een vast rendement op hun spaargeld. Dit is een andere insteek dan wanneer een ondernemer of investeringsmaatschappij een dergelijke aanschaf doet. We kunnen dit vertrouwen in ons product plus bijbehorend verdienmodel zeer waarderen. <\/span><\/p>\n

Vertrouwen<\/b><\/h3>\n

Met het woord \u2018vertrouwen\u2019 sluit ik dit verhaal ook af. We hebben vertrouwen in 2023. Corona lijkt vooralsnog tot het verleden te horen en sommige prijsniveau\u2019s lijken op hun hoogtepunt te zijn. <\/span><\/p>\n

From the plane from Dublin to the Netherlands, I am already writing the last article of this year. I am returning from a delivery in Clarecastle, followed by a meeting with a number of prospects. The first delivery of this year was in Ireland, and so was the last. Nothing is more rewarding than a second order, because then you know for sure that your products are liked and that our customers are making money with them. This time it didn’t rain but it froze.
