Omzetperspectief weegt zwaarder dan inkoopprijs<\/h1>\n

Wij draaien er niet omheen, onze containers zijn prijzig in aanschaf. Een tweedehands markt is er ook niet of nauwelijks. Dat komt omdat vrijwel alle 200.000 verkochte containers nog worden gebruikt waarvoor ze zijn aangeschaft; de opslag van goederen. Ook zijn onze containers geen restproduct van een andere markt, zoals dat bij zeecontainers vaak het geval is.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Veel hogere huurprijs
<\/b>Het goede nieuws is dat een eindgebruiker bereid is veel meer te betalen voor opslag in onze container dan in bijvoorbeeld een zeecontainer. De huurprijs kan gemakkelijk 25% hoger zijn. Die prijs kan verder omhoog door de opslagcontainer aan te bieden in compartimenten. Iets wat met onze containers heel eenvoudig te realiseren is. Vier klanten die allemaal 25% van de beschikbare ruimte van de container huren, brengen samen meer op dan \u00e9\u00e9n klant die een volledige container huurt. In totaal is er een tot wel 40% hogere huur te realiseren met onze container in vergelijking met een zeecontainer. Wanneer dit in de praktijk niet het geval is, durf ik wel te stellen dat de ruimtes voor een te laag bedrag worden verhuurd.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/b>Wanneer u dergelijke grote verschillen in de huurtarieven meeneemt in het totaalplaatje van de aanschaf zal de rekensom uiteindelijk heel verrassend uitvallen. Zeker als u het over een periode van vijf of tien jaar bekijkt. <\/span>
\n<\/span>Met behulp van deze grafiek kunnen we dat eenvoudig visualiseren. Het vooruitzicht van een structureel 35% hogere huurprijs weegt uiteindelijk veel zwaarder dan een hoge aanschafprijs. Het omzetperspectief is dus vele malen belangrijker dan de inkoopprijs van uw asset, in dit geval de container.<\/span><\/p>\n

We don’t beat around the bush, our containers are pricey to buy. There is also little or no second-hand market. This is because almost all of the 200,000 containers sold are still being used for what they were purchased for; the storage of goods.
