FEDESSA Winter Workshop & AESS<\/h1>\n

Afgelopen tijd waren we aanwezig op twee leuke evenementen. Dit jaar was de winter workshop in het mooie Zwitserland, Jan-Hein was hier net als vorig jaar aanwezig. Daarnaast waren Maarten en Danny samen in Madrid op de AESS. Zij vertellen graag wat meer over hun ervaringen.<\/span><\/p>\n

FEDESSA Winter Workshop<\/h3>\n

Net als voorgaande jaren is de winter workshop altijd iets om naar uit te kijken. Er zijn minder mooie omgevingen voor een workshop te bedenken. Na enige jaren in het gezellige St. Anton am Arlberg<\/a> in Oostenrijk was dit jaar de keuze van de Fedessa op het mooie Villars in Zwitserland<\/a> gevallen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ondanks dat wij al onze vliegreizen binnen USC met zgn. sustainable fuel compenseren (we zijn goed van vertrouwen) blijft de trein toch het meest duurzame vervoermiddel. Artificial Intelligence<\/h3>\n

In Zwitserland aangekomen waren het twee mooie dagen met workshops over SEO en Artificial Intelligence (AI) in self-storage. SEO is natuurlijk al lang niet meer weg te denken om voldoende huurders te werven, maar minstens zo interessant is de inzet van AI als hulpmiddel bij de promotie van je self-storage locatie. Probeer eens een tool als Chat GPT<\/a> en vraag deze eens 10 goede redenen op te noemen waarom mensen self-storage nodig hebben. Ik kan je vertellen dat het interessant is.<\/span><\/p>\n

Natuurlijk moest er ook worden geskied en in de bar worden bijgepraat. Met name dat laatste snappen de Engelsen maar al te goed. Kortom, het was weer erg gezellig.<\/span><\/p>\n

De AESS in Madrid<\/h3>\n

Op 7 maart was de jaarlijkse AESS<\/a> beurs in Spanje. Deze vindt afwisselend in Barcelona of Madrid plaats. Wij hebben reeds een aantal projecten gedaan en Spanje en deze zomer staat er nog een mooi project gepland, waar we u spoedig meer over kunnen vertellen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Noord- VS Zuid-Europa<\/h3>\n

De AESS heeft traditiegetrouw veel bezoekers uit heel Zuid-Europa. Zij beperkt zich hiermee niet alleen tot Spanje. De Spaanse gebruiker heeft andere eisen dan de Noord-Europese gebruiker, dus wij hebben voor de Spaanse markt een aangepaste container ontwikkeld. Met name kernpunten als onze isolatie zijn minder van belang. <\/span><\/p>\n

De greenroof in warmere klimaten<\/h3>\n

Bescherming tegen de zon is daarentegen wel heel belangrijk. Hiervoor hebben wij een greenroof ontwikkeld. Een levende plantenrij biedt bescherming tegen de zon, waardoor de temperatuur in de container met minimaal 10 graden daalt. Vogels en insecten zullen u daarnaast dankbaar zijn. Hoewel we ons overigens hadden verheugd op die Spaanse zon, was deze helaas afwezig. De dag bestond uit wind en veel regen. Recently, we attended two enjoyable events. This year, the winter workshop was held in beautiful Switzerland, where Jan-Hein was present just as he was last year.
