With summer at its peak, it’s a great time to reflect on everything we’ve accomplished so far. From our expansions in Europe to the introduction of smart locking systems, it’s been a busy and exciting year at USC so far. A great opportunity to connect with customers, partners and new faces. <\/span><\/p>\n We kicked off with this year’s AESS conference<\/a> in Madrid, the 17th edition of Spain’s largest self-storage event. We had many valuable conversations with operators and suppliers and it was great to see how much interest there was in our Z-Box. The Spanish market is growing rapidly and we are happy to be a part of it. <\/span><\/p>\n Then we had the Self Storage Association UK Conference<\/a>. It was a top notch experience with great talks, live demos of our units and even a DeLorean stopping by. Big thanks to SSAUK and TIC for organizing such a fun and well-organized event. <\/span><\/p>\n We also attended the British Association of Removers Conference<\/a>, where we showcased the Mover Box. Our customized container for the moving industry is already being used by our customers Fox Group<\/a> and Williams & Yates<\/a>. It is designed to store three standard boxes and can be used as a removable truck container with twistlocks. This year we worked hard to integrate smart, keyless locks into our containers and the first results are already visible. <\/span><\/p>\n MyLock – Smart and Simple to Use<\/b><\/p>\n Together with our partner MyLock, we developed a smart locking system made specifically for USC containers. It is easy to install (without modifications to the containers), works with a PIN code or via an app on your phone, and is already being used at several locations. Thanks to the open API, the system can be easily linked to existing management software. Perfect for unmanned sites or companies looking to modernize. <\/span><\/p>\n Nok\u0113 – Fully Integrated with Janus Roller Doors<\/b><\/p>\n We have also partnered with Janus International Europe to integrate Nok\u0113’s smart locks directly into their roller doors. Already using Nok\u0113? Then you can effortlessly switch to USC containers without any modifications. The complete system with door, lock and app works right out of the box.
