De FEDESSA Conference was voor USC een groot succes want de internationale belangstelling voor onze opslagcontainers was enorm. Nog tijdens de beurs hebben we alle Z-Boxen die we nog op voorraad hadden, verkocht.<\/span><\/p>\n

Maarten verzorgde tijdens de beurs \u00e9\u00e9n van de Round Table sessies. Voor een internationaal gehoor vertelde hij over USC en de Z-Box en beantwoordde daarna een aantal vragen.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cSpijtig genoeg hebben we onze containers momenteel niet meer op voorraad. Onze volledige voorraad hebben we namelijk tijdens deze Fedessa Show al verkocht. Nieuwe containers kunnen uiteraard wel gewoon worden besteld. Bedenk wel dat wij helaas ook te maken hebben met de huidige, extreem lange levertijden. Dat is een wereldwijd probleem. Die levertijd bedraagt momenteel zo\u2019n vijftien weken.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cDit komt door meerdere factoren. De scheepvaartroutes zijn nog steeds verstoord vanwege de eerdere blokkade dit jaar in het Suez-kanaal. Daarnaast kampt China, vanwege de gevolgen van COVID-19, nog altijd met een forse productie-achterstand. Vervolgens hebben we ook nog eens last van de verstoorde handelsrelaties tussen China en de VS.\u201d<\/span>

\u201cEr zijn natuurlijk goedkopere containers op de markt. Vergeet echter niet dat \u00e9\u00e9n aspect het belangrijkst is en dat is de omzet. Een container die \u20ac 150,- per maand oplevert in plaats van \u20ac 110,-, is misschien in aanschaf drie keer zo duur. Maar na vijf jaar blijkt deze toch het meest renderend te zijn.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
