Du 5 au 9 f\u00e9vrier, l’atelier d’hiver annuel de la FEDESSA \u00e9tait de nouveau au programme. Le fournisseur Bill Brennan de Storage Future<\/span><\/a>le principal sponsor de l’\u00e9v\u00e9nement, m’avait persuad\u00e9 de venir et de parrainer l’atelier au nom de l’USC. D\u00e9tente<\/b><\/h3>\n

Ce n’est certainement pas mon intention de vous pr\u00eacher dans le train maintenant, ni que je suis aussi durable, mais je peux vous dire qu’un si long trajet en train est assez relaxant. Nous avons travers\u00e9 des paysages vari\u00e9s et il y avait de la bonne nourriture et des boissons \u00e0 bord. H\u00e9bergement<\/b><\/h3>\n

\u00c0 l’arriv\u00e9e, l’avantage suppl\u00e9mentaire \u00e9tait que l’h\u00e9bergement de qualit\u00e9<\/a>, ce que FEDESSA comprend toujours bien, se trouvait en face de la gare. J’ai donc roul\u00e9 du compartiment du train directement dans la chambre d’h\u00f4tel.
Une belle compagnie d’environ 30 personnes \u00e9tait \u00e9galement arriv\u00e9e \u00e0 ce moment-l\u00e0. En plus des participants habituellement anglais, des repr\u00e9sentants de soci\u00e9t\u00e9s de stockage norv\u00e9giennes et italiennes \u00e9taient d\u00e9sormais pr\u00e9sents. En bref, tr\u00e8s int\u00e9ressant.

Atelier<\/b><\/h3>\n

Le lundi matin a d\u00e9but\u00e9 par un atelier anim\u00e9 par Laura Moxham, une pr\u00e9sence d\u00e9sormais famili\u00e8re sur le march\u00e9 britannique du stockage. Son intervention portait sur l’optimisation de votre site web et de l’exp\u00e9rience client qui y est associ\u00e9e. Des poign\u00e9es de main puissantes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 donn\u00e9es et la compagnie a \u00e9t\u00e9 enthousiasm\u00e9e.
Ensuite, c’\u00e9tait l’heure du ski, car apr\u00e8s tout, c’est pour cela que nous sommes venus. La r\u00e9gion de St. Petersburg. St Anton – Z\u00fcrs – Lech forment un domaine skiable moderne et \u00e9tendu. Aux Pays-Bas, elle est surtout connue pour les vacances de ski annuelles de la famille royale, qui r\u00e9side toujours \u00e0 l’h\u00f4tel Gasthof Post<\/a> \u00e0 Lech.<\/span><\/p>\n

Au d\u00e9but de la soir\u00e9e, tout le monde a \u00e9t\u00e9 inform\u00e9 par CBRE<\/a> de l’\u00e9tat financier du march\u00e9 du self-stockage. L’accent a \u00e9t\u00e9 mis sur les diverses fusions et acquisitions qui ont eu lieu en 2022. Des informations fascinantes dont on pourra parler ensuite au bar. Automatisation<\/b><\/h3>\n

La deuxi\u00e8me et d\u00e9j\u00e0 derni\u00e8re journ\u00e9e a \u00e9t\u00e9 lanc\u00e9e par le PDG de la FEDESSA, Rennie Schafer. Il nous a expliqu\u00e9 comment les progr\u00e8s de l’automatisation modifient le march\u00e9. L’automatisation implique \u00e9galement bien plus que la recherche d’un stockage sans personnel. Bien entendu, il peut \u00e9galement soutenir la gestion op\u00e9rationnelle. Nous reviendrons sur ce sujet plus tard dans l’ann\u00e9e.
Ensuite, nous avons \u00e0 nouveau enfil\u00e9 nos skis, en remarquant que le bar de Basecamp<\/a> \u00e9tait \u00e9tonnamment plein de participants au Winter Workshop dans l’apr\u00e8s-midi. Les coll\u00e8gues anglais aiment se rencontrer<\/span><\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s l’indispensable J\u00e4ger Bommen<\/a>, la compagnie est retourn\u00e9e \u00e0 l’h\u00f4tel pour le dernier atelier, cette fois dirig\u00e9 par Sara Brannan (oui, la femme de…). Elle a parl\u00e9 de la durabilit\u00e9 au sein du march\u00e9 du self-stockage. J’ai bien r\u00e9ussi mon voyage durable en train apr\u00e8s tout.<\/span><\/p>\n
