Onlangs hebben we een containerpark opgeleverd in het Noord-Franse Valenciennes. Dit betrof een park voor Carr\u00e9box, eigendom van het familiebedrijf Coisne, een begrip binnen de Franse opslagmarkt. In 2020 hadden wij voor Carr\u00e9box het eerste park opgeleverd. Dat vond plaats tijdens de eerste periode van de Europese lockdown, de week van 16 maart 2020. Een nieuwe ronde met nieuwe kansen. Werkten we onlangs in Zweden nog bij temperaturen van -20 graden, ook ditmaal werkten de weergoden niet bepaald mee. Maar liefst drie stormen tegelijk woeien over het noordwesten van Europa en wij zaten er met dit project middenin. Het bleef dus dagenlang zeer hard waaien, wat de bouw flink bemoeilijkte. Alleen de eerste dag was het weer nog wel redelijk. Toen hebben we gelukkig nog wat drone-opnamen kunnen maken. <\/span><\/p>\n
\n<\/b>Carr\u00e9box Valenciennes<\/a> wordt gerund door J\u00e9r\u00e9my Coisne. Het opslagbedrijf ligt pal aan de A2, ten zuiden van Valenciennes. Dit is een voormalig staal- en mijnbouwgebied in het noorden van Frankrijk. De Belgische grens is slechts een handvol kilometers verwijderd. In de 19e eeuw was dit economisch \u00e9\u00e9n van de belangrijkste plekken van Frankrijk, maar in 1989 sloot hier de laatste mijn. De omgeving en haar bewoners zijn nogal ruw en recht-door-zee. <\/b>Iets later dan gepland hebben we alsnog het park kunnen opleveren. In april volgt een derde locatie van Carr\u00e9box. Dit keer in Pilaterie, bij Lille. Een aantal containers is hier al afgeleverd en de rest zal spoedig volgen. Over dit project zullen we u later dit jaar informeren. Hopelijk kunnen we dan, zonder stormen of lockdowns, eens alles volgens plan laten verlopen..<\/span><\/p>\n
