Boxwell and STREPPEL Announce Strategic Partnership
Boxwell, a global manufacturer and distributor of storage solutions, and STREPPEL, a specialist in foldable, insulated relocatable storage containers, have formed a strategic partnership. Together they are bringing a new, reinforced generation of STREPPEL containers to market.
What the partnership means
The alliance combines Boxwell’s manufacturing, engineering and product development expertise with STREPPEL’s market knowledge and established European presence. STREPPEL’s solutions operate at roughly 300 locations across Europe, from Norway and Iceland to Spain.
Since 2018, STREPPEL has worked to make relocatable storage a standard offering for European operators. As the company developed its next-generation containers, a partner with direct production and engineering control became essential. Boxwell provides that capability.
Together the partners created an improved STREPPEL container with a reinforced roof, thicker steel components and redesigned partition walls, engineered for strength and faster installation. The partnership became effective in September 2026.
Boxwell CEO Rod Bolls stresses that from the beginning the two companies were aligned on quality, relationships and innovation. Founders Jan-Hein and Maarten Streppel were looking for a partner able to match their ambition, with full control over its own production and engineering.
The new containers debuted at the SSA UK Show in April 2026 and have since been installed in the United Kingdom, Spain, Germany and Sweden. The system was also exhibited at the FEDESSA Conference & Trade Show (22 to 24 September 2026) in Wiesbaden, booth 8.
The containers are available for purchase or operating lease. European operators can contact STREPPEL for details or a facility visit.
