Quickly adjust rental units? No problem!

One Friday, our engineer Danny was asked if he could create new container layouts for a French customer. This one preferred to be able to offer storage units with different interior dimensions. This would allow him to meet the rental sizes commonly used in France.

The customer wanted the interior dimensions of the containers to match his own m2 offerings. For this reason, we moved the compartments and adjusted them in a layout that made more sense to him. Of course, these had to fit within the total interior space of a 14m2 container.

The deadline was tight but with the help of clever calculation we managed to create four rental units with a different layout for this client. The new format was applied to both a 3-door and a 4-door STREPPEL container (or a Model 4 and a Model 5).

By picking up this question quickly, we were able to deliver the new layout to the satisfied customer the very next Monday. Subsequently, the new compartmentation was also approved by the manufacturer. Currently, the containers are in production.
